Power Partners Program

Champion Energy’s Power Partners program is Champion Energy’s discretionary bill payment assistance program established to assist our customers in times of need.

Through Power Partners, we work with non-profit social service agencies such as Sheltering Arms, Neighborhood Centers, and the Urban League of Dallas to provide extra funds to customers needing assistance paying their electricity bill. Customers who qualify may receive a one-time donation funded by Champion Energy and customer donations.

Customers that are not receiving social services may also qualify for assistance on a case by case basis.

To assist customers impacted by Hurricane Harvey, Champion Energy is doubling our  matching program to $2 for every $1 donated, for all Power Power donations from September 1 through December 31, 2017 (up to $10,000 donated per individual, maximum of $250,000 matched). In addition, Champion Energy and our parent company, Calpine Corporation, have donated $250,000 to the Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in our community. We have also committed to working with customers through this hardship by waiving late fees through September 30th and extending payment terms to anyone affected by Hurricane Harvey.

How to donate: Information about donating is located on the bill stub of your Champion Energy bill.

From September 1 – December 31, 2017, you can also donate through www.youcaring.com/PowerPartners.
